The partner agreement

Finish the step before this one first
The agreement between you and Build With IK LLC, in plain words first. Then its confirmations: tick each one to sign. Your signature is recorded and sealed, and you can check it at any time.
The key terms, in plain words
- What you earn
- You earn 15% of every payment the client makes, on every project of USD 7,500 or more that they sign within 12 months of the first one. Section 5
- When it’s earned
- Only once the client’s payment has reached us: never on an unpaid invoice. If a client is refunded, that commission comes off your future commissions. Sections 5 and 8
- Register first
- Register a business in your dashboard before we first contact it. The first partner to register a business has it for 90 days, and for as long as it’s in talks with us or is our client. Section 4
- Who does what
- You introduce and follow up. We run the call, the proposal, the contract and the build. You never quote, negotiate or sign anything for us. Section 2
- Getting paid
- Withdraw once your balance reaches USD 1,000. Payouts go out on the 14th and the 28th: through Wise into your own bank account (you don’t need a Wise account), or by US bank transfer if you’re in the US. Any transfer, currency-conversion or receiving fees are yours; we don’t cover them. Section 6
- Before the first payout
- A government ID, a tax form and your postal address, and a check against sanctions lists. Section 7
- Your status
- You’re an independent contractor, not an employee, and you handle your own taxes. Section 16
- How you talk about us
- When you recommend us in public, say you’re paid. No spam, bulk email or cold texts in our name, and no misleading claims. Section 10
- Keep it clean
- Keep deal details private, along with what a business tells you before you introduce it, and never offer an improper payment to win a referral. Sections 11 and 12
- What doesn’t count
- A business we already know, your own employer (unless you tell us and they agree in writing), government bodies, and healthcare organizations that bill a government health program earn no commission. Businesses in Nepal are outside the program: we work with them directly. Section 3
- Changes and ending
- We can change the agreement with 30 days’ notice. Either of us can end it with 30 days’ notice, and what you’ve earned is still paid. Sections 15 and 19
