Marketing kit

What you need to introduce us well: a one-pager to forward, three messages to adapt, and how to talk about us honestly. Every claim here is one we make on our own site.

Read this first What we build, and how the program works The partner guide: seven short pages, from what you earn to the kinds of projects we build and who they suit. Come back to any page whenever you like.

The one-pager

Forward it, or print it and save it as a PDF to attach to an email.

BuildWithIK

Bespoke software, built with you

BuildWithIK builds bespoke software, end to end, for one business's problem at a time: the web, the app, the data, the automations, the assistant. A first build takes fourteen days to a working product, and the company is registered in the United States.

How fast

Fourteen days to a working product: day 3 the first screen you can click, day 6 your data, day 9 the model, day 14 delivered and handed over.

Three-day sprints. A working release every two weeks. A written recap every week. The first build of every project is a substantial release.

What protects you

NDA first. Full handover of code and documents. No lock-in. 30-day warranty.

Roughly half of a US agency's cost, fixed in writing before we start.

Your data stays in systems you control. Where a product uses an AI service, we choose one whose business terms don't use your data for training.

Who builds it

Three co-founders and a senior team: Sashank Thapa (CEO), Anup Rao (CTO), Rose Dhakal (CFO, United States).

Registered in the United States. We contract, invoice and bank in the US. Built by our own team.

Next step: a 20-minute call with one of the founders. Book a time: buildwithik.com/book

Shared with you by a BuildWithIK referral partner. Referral partners earn a commission when an introduction becomes a client. buildwithik.com

Three messages to adapt

Fill in the parts in [brackets]. The email and the WhatsApp message go to one person you know, one at a time: saying you’re paid is up to you there, and a tick adds the line. The LinkedIn post is public, so it says you’re paid: keep that line. Register the business in your dashboard first, or let them book through your link, which registers it for you (unless we already know the business).

How to talk about us

The short version of sections 2, 9, 10 and 13 of the partner agreement.

Do

  • Say you are a BuildWithIK referral partner and earn a commission for introductions, every time you recommend us in public (in a post, on a website, in a newsletter, on social media or in a group), where people will see it: not only in a hashtag or behind a “read more” link (10.3). A private message to someone you know doesn’t need it.
  • Use the facts on this page as they are written.
  • Get the business’s agreement before you give us their contact details (9.1), and register it in your dashboard before we first contact them (4.1).
  • Write to people you know, one at a time.

Don’t

  • Quote a price, a discount or a timeline for their project, or promise results: we set those in our proposal (2.2, 10.4).
  • Say you work for us or speak for us, or agree anything on our behalf (2.3).
  • Send bulk email, mass messages or cold texts in our name, or use bought contact lists (10.1, 9.7).
  • Use or change our logo, or suggest a closer relationship than you have, such as a partnership or an office (13.2). Our name as plain text is fine: you can call yourself a BuildWithIK referral partner (13.1).

A note, not a rule: if you advise or work for the business, for example as its accountant or consultant, check whether your profession requires you to tell them about a referral fee.
